Picking up this project again, and finally got a basic design of the blog as I wanted etc!
Now there's updated media-player-info files for Xperia arc and ray in my new github repository:
https://github.com/ernstp/xperia-linux-media-player-info/tree/deb-pack
I have also built debian packages for Ubuntu and uploaded them to my PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~ernstp/+archive/ppa
Add ppa:ernstp/ppa in the Software Sources control panel or similar.
This allows Rhythmbox for example to manage the music on your phone! Hope someone finds this useful! :-)
Trying to find the Usb ID for Xperia Play and neo also, then I'll submit this to the media-player-info issue tracker over at Freedesktop.

Project 1: media-player-info
Submit info to http://cgit.freedesktop.org/media-player-info/ for the recently released Xperia phones: Arc, Play and Neo.
Should be really simple, I only need the USB Device ID's for these and the rest should be copy&paste.

New project!
This blog is obviously a big work in progress right now, as you can see.
Hope I don't get stuck in the design too long! :-)
I've had this idea for a while, should be a number of simple things to do that would improve the experience for people connecting an Xperia (Android) phone to a Linux desktop. I'll be testing on Ubuntu Natty and upload new versions of packages to my ppa!
